Craigard House Hotel overlooks Campbeltown Loch, in a quiet cul-de-sac, but minutes from the centre of town.
A recently converted Victorian mansion, originally built by a Whisky Distiller, Craigard offers a friendly and informal stay, in thirteen comfortable and well-appointed rooms, many with glorious sea views.

All room bookings include a full Scottish breakfast. The Lochside Restaurant, awarded ‘Taste the Best’ by Visit Scotland for several years, specialises in freshly prepared local seafood and shellfish from Kintyre waters; Lamb, Beef and Pork from nearby farms, and award-winning Kintyre cheeses and Campbeltown Smoked produce. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are always available, and all dietary needs can be catered for with advance notice. Chef makes dinner rolls daily. The hearty Breakfast will give you a good start to the day, and includes fresh fruit salad, porridge, local Smoked Salmon, Smoked Haddock and Kippers as well as the Full Scottish Breakfast and much more.

HOTEL AMENITIES
Nestling in a tranquil cul de sac, a stones throw from the Harbour and Town Centre, Craigard House Hotel offers a quiet setting overlooking Campbeltown Loch. The 13 bedrooms, most with sea view, offer a comfortable and pleasant stay. Breakfast is included in all accommodation options.
There are three standard double bedrooms; one king double with side sea view; one Executive king double on ground floor with sea view; three Classic double or twin rooms with a king double bed and single bed (two with sea view); one sea view Superior Family room with a king double and two single beds, through an arch; one front sea view Superior double or twin room with a king double bed and a single bed; one Classic double or twin room on ground floor, with walk-in shower; one small single room with garden view; and one Junior Suite with a super king four poster bed, seating and dining area and magnificent bow window overlooking the sea.
Eleven rooms have baths and showers, and two have double walk-in showers.
All rooms have free WiFi, USB socket, flat screen TV, Welcome tea tray, huge fluffy towels and toiletries in large format to alleviate single use plastic. There is free parking on site.
The welcoming lounge and bar, with tray service, offers comfy chairs and an opportunity to relax with some of the eclectic fine wines, local and international ales and beers, and a great range of Campbeltown, Island and Highland Malts.
The Award-winning Lochside Restaurant offers a wide selection of local seafood, shellfish, meat, cheese and produce, reducing food miles and supporting nearby suppliers. We have an A la Carte menu and a daily Specials Menu which offer something for everyone, and can cater for all dietary requirements. All dishes are made on the premises and mostly to order, except for pre-made at home favourites such as Soups, Seafood Chowder, Lasagne, Chilli and Steak Pie.
Dinner is served from 6pm to 9pm. Booking is recommended.
